Hawkins Historic specialises in works on Listed and Historic buildings, aiming to provide expert advice for all renovation, conservation and alteration works to our built heritage.

Hawkins Historic’s work on Historic and Listed Buildings encompasses all aspects of building conservation:

  • The preparation of drawings and specifications for Listed Building Consent and Planning Permission applications;
  • The procurement of specialist building contractors, many of whom are local and a known quantity in terms of quality and reliability;
  • Project management services;
  • Specialist technical advice on all historic building matters.

We work independently on any project and also work as a part of a project team providing expert advice as required to support to the project Architect and the Building Contractor, in many cases acting as the negotiator with other Conservation professionals.

The vast majority of our clients are repeat business, with numerous business relationships in excess of five years, and the completion of multiple successful projects.
